“On a trip to Linear Fisheries I took this 15lb 8oz bream from Manor Farm Lake – which set both a new PB and a lake record for the species!
“I was targeting tench, as there are only three bream that we know of in there. I began my session by targeting a spot 45 yards out, where I had one tench before moving to a spot at 70 yards where I’d seen fish fizzing.
“I found a bed of silt trapped between two gravel bars that I baited with 10 Spombs of hemp, micro halibut pellets, and chopped worm.
“After a lost carp, the alarm tore off at 11am, giving a one-toner, and the big bream was the culprit! It took a worm and caster cocktail.”
