Whilst the Norfolk Broads are famed for producing big pike, they’re not the only large predators on offer from the region, as 23-year-old Peter Savory proved with this fine 4lb 8oz perch.
It was caught on a short session on a tidal stretch of the River Bure, where
he used lure tactics. The fish breaks his previous PB that had stood for five years.
In the same session he also added another perch around the 2lb mark.
