On the first day, Bedding's drew peg 65 on the Nelson Field, and it yielded a respectable 36-5-0 catch, placing him in a strong position for the second day.

The second day saw a change in conditions, with heavy rain raising the river level, which introduced more bream into the mix. Bedding capitalised on this opportunity, landing 15 bream for a total of 79-4-0 from peg 30 on the Ashfield stretch at Burton Joyce, securing his victory.

Martin Challenger finished a commendable second with a total of 98-4-0, while Hadrian Whittle secured third place with 84-11-0.
