Targeting a Midlands stillwater, the Leicester angler fished in brutal conditions, with 45mph gusts and heavy rain battering his swim. Lee cast to the back of a gravel bar 22 wraps out and had the fish using single caster hookbaits.

Due to the heavy tow kicked up by the rough conditions, Lee fed only hemp and casters, knowing they’d sink quickly to the bottom and not be dragged a long way off his spots.
