Charlie Law picked up his second Youth National win

Arriving at Tunnel Barn Farm for this year’s Angling Trust/Guru Youth National as the current title holder after winning at Westwood Lakes last summer, the Team Rammy angler from Manchester duly went and made it two out of two with a crushing win.

Weighing in 101-100 of mainly F1s from peg 27 on the House Pool, Guru-backed Charlie ended up miles in front of runner-up Tommy Clark, the Browning Youth Maroon rod taking 65-925 from peg 24 on the same lake for silver, Sensas Evesham Youth’s Jacob Lees picking up bronze from peg 18 on the Club Pool with 60-850.

There was double joy for the Team Rammy outfit in this close-run Youth match. Following on from Charlie Law's individual win, they also took team gold ahead of the 13 other six-a-side teams, posting 25 points to sneak past the post.
