The bagging potential of Todber Manor was on full show during the latest open match event as the winner put together an enormous 768lb to take top spot.
Simon Stacey was top rod on the day at the Dorset complex, working with short pole tactics both in front and down the margins from peg 90 on Homeground Lake for carp to 8lb.
There was never much suggestion of an upset to the final result, with the winner over 170lb clear of second place. The runner up was still given a very busy day on the bank though, with Martin Rayet hauling in 591lb from peg 82 on the same lake.
