A top commercial has signalled its intent to make its specimen lake one of the best runs waters in the region with the stocking of several stunning fish.
Cheshire’s Partridge Lakes is widely recognised as a prolific match and pleasure fishery for those that enjoy working with float and feeder tactics, but bosses have made moves to make them even more attractive to those that prefer sitting behind a set of bite alarms.

Holbar Lake is home to the venue’s biggest residents, with blueprints in place for several months to boost the stock. An introduction planned for late last year was postponed after the fish farm was unable to provide the desired stamp of carp, but that setback has now been countered with the arrival of six stunningly marked specimens.
Four 20lb plus fish to 24lb 7oz and a brace of upper doubles have now gone in, with the fishery revealing that it is just the start of their campaign, with more big carp expected to be added later in the year.
