This summer, juniors who haven’t tried fishing before have the chance to learn from the best in the business as the Guru Fishing School gets underway.

The first events take place in August, at Makins Fishery (8th), Partridge (17th) and Lavender Hall (23rd), with anybody under the age of 18 invited to attend.

These will be morning and afternoon sessions, where for an entry fee of £20 the kids will receive an introduction to fishing, as well as a free whip, rig, disgorger, plummet, bait tub and hooks.

Marc Foy, from Guru Fishery Operations and Management, said. “Last year, these sessions were in high demand, so don’t hesitate to book on via the Canal and Rivers Trust website!”
