Match carp, big carp, you name it, Kayleigh does it. Here, celebrating with her very young lad Oliver.

Lining up against 34 other ladies at Fenland fishery Rookery Waters, Preston Innovations-backed England international Kayleigh enjoyed bites from start to finish at peg 36 on the Magpie Lake, to end the day a little under 11 kilos clear of Maver star Sarah Taylor’s 112-925, Chloe Raynor completing the top three with 108-725.

Victory follows up Kayleigh’s wins in the event in 2014 and 2016, and came about using simple shallow tactics with a fixed float and jigga for casters and pellets up against the large lily beds in the peg.

It also earns her a place in the Fish O’Mania Final on July 22 at Westwood Lakes, where she’ll do battle for the £50,000 prize. Having won two of the Ladies Fish O' events in the past and with a fine match pedigree both for the England Ladies Float and Carp teams, she’ll be one to watch!
