A unique pair of boxer shorts with the face of a top match angler and logo of a major tackle manufacturer printed on them have been put up as a prize in an online competition.

Preston Innovations made a one off pair of 'Des Shipp's Bagging Boxers' with their branding and star's face on them to play a practical joke on their social media followers on April Fools' day.

It was claimed the merchandise would be part of their next launch, with some anglers falling for the prank.

The boxer shorts caused quite a stir, with almost 200 comments on their Facebook page whipping up a little entertainment.

Rather than leave them to collect dust in a storage cupboard, Preston Innovations have now opened up a competition where one angler will get to own the unique garment. They've even been framed and signed by the man himself to make them more desirable!

Anyone interested should locate the post on the Preston Innovations Facebook page, like the post and tag a friend before May 31 to be entered into the draw.
