THIS beautifully conditioned 15lb 15oz fish marks the culmination of a 15-year quest to catch a big bream by Dan Woolcott.

The Kent angler caught it from a 40-acre lake, where he baited an 11ft-deep spot 60yds out with Dynamite Baits Halibut boilies, hemp, pellets, groundbait, worm casts and molasses.

He presented a 15mm boilie tipped with fake corn over the top on a heli-rig, with a 3oz lead, a fluorocarbon hooklink and a size 8 hook. Having landed an 11lb 1oz tench only last week, you can certainly say Dan has hit the ground running this spring!
