England International lure angler Adam Seeley got among the big fish action recently, landing an awesome 16lb 10oz zander from the River Trent.
“My main goal for the season was a 15lb-plus river zander, but it came sooner than I expected!” he said.
“I began with a stepped-up drop shot rig, but after a quiet start, switched to a smaller, brighter lure. Instantly, I landed a small fish of around 4lb. Next cast, I had the most ungodly bite, and line began to peel from the spool! When I got it on the mat, I was in awe.”
