Todber Manor Fishery has certainly been grabbing the headlines of late for the massive match weights the Hill View Lake has been producing, and last week’s pairs event got people talking again as two new five-hour records were set!

Former England star Callum Dicks weighed in a mighty 867lb of carp to set the best, only to see is eclipsed a few minutes later by Jack Stamp with 980lb. On the pairs front, Callum did have some joy though, as with partner Scott Puddy they scored 30 points to win ahead of Jack and Gary O’Shea on 28.

Pairs result: 1 S Puddy and C Dicks, 30pts; 2 J Stamp and G O’Shea, 28 (superior weight); 3 P Wrighting and C Edmunds, 28.
