Fans of the hit TV show Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing will be delighted to hear that an eighth series has been commissioned.
It’s set to air in 2025, after the bumper eight-episode series seven hits our screens later this year.
The eighth series takes on a more personal angle with regard to the locations used, as Bob and Paul each choose places to fish that are close to their hearts.
“Paul and I will be travelling back in time for this series, going to fish in places which shaped our lives,” said Bob.
The series will be shown on BBC2 and iPlayer and will consist of six 30-minute episodes. We’ll be providing an update on the transmission dates for both series seven and eight soon.
