Park lakes are rarely associated with giant weights but a venue in Kent went against the grain in style when the winner of the latest match banked a colossal 124lb of bream.

Medway Tackle boss Richard Taylor headed to his local Mote Park to take part in the open contest and was delighted after end peg 22 stuck to his hand.

He made no mistakes from the noted hotspot, fishing a Method feeder moulded with SonuBaits Green Marine groundbait at 30m to fool 30 quality slabs that helped give him a comfortable victory.

The fish were on the feed elsewhere in the lake too, with second placed Mark Hathway bringing 20 bream and a lone tench to the scales from peg 17 for a 77lb 11oz total.
