Solihull’s Barston Lakes draws match, pleasure, and specimen anglers from all over the country, with 124 well-spaced swims on offer.
The venue’s first ever 30lb plus carp were introduced a decade ago, with the giants weighing in at 30lb and 37lb 2oz.

Another pair over the magical mark have now joined them, with both tipping the dial on the scales round to 35lb.
The fish were sourced from the highly respected Babylon Fish Farm, with venue boss Nigel Harrhy overseeing the stocking earlier in the week.
