There are very few anglers in the country with a big fish list like that of Sticky Baits and Thinking Anglers backed carp ace Scott Lloyd, who this week added another giant to his enviable photo album.
Scott captivated carpers around the country this time last year with a Sticky Baits film that recounted his ridiculous campaign for the Cotswold 'Croc', a fish he eventually landed in unrelenting fashion.

It appears he used the same grit and determination again this autumn to land a huge 58lb 2oz common, a story that has once again been captured and will be told in full on the Sticky Baits YouTube channel.
Commenting on their Facebook page, Sticky said: "Back out and doing it, and in some style too! Just like autumn last year, when he banked the big mirror known as 'The Croc', Scott Lloyd has been full throttle with his latest campaign, and inevitably the outcome was the same earlier this week when he banked this immense creature.
"The huge, 58lb 2oz common was the reward of a massive amount of effort, big long-range bait ups, early starts, and playing the numbers game, being his 31st bite in the 26 nights fishing on the big park lake. And yes... it's all on film! Watch this space."

For those who might not be fully aware of some of Scott's historic big carp captures, he already has the likes of 'The Big Plated', 'The Baby Black' and the mighty 'Burghfield Common' in his list, but still has an unmatchable drive to catch more big carp. It's easy to see why many regard him as one of the country's best carp anglers.

"It literally blew me away this carp, 58lb 2oz of proper old beasty common."
