SINCE the reservoir predator season opened back in autumn, we’ve had some excellent perch reported, the latest being this 4lb 10oz brute, landed by Lincolnshire angler, Ryan Dolby.
He was fishing a Midlands water with a 9cm shad lure, jigged fast to provoke a reaction. He added another of 4lb 4oz on a drop shot before heading to a deeper area of the reservoir to target zander, where he rounded the day off with a 12lb zed.
