Outlaw Pro, the Billericay-based angling megastore, has recently upgraded its enormous in-store fish tank to a predator tank in preparation for the predator season. The carp, which previously lived there, had grown so large they had to be removed. They’ve been replaced with perch and rudd, with pike expected to join soon, with the tank landscaped to look like a lot of our UK waterways where many fish for predators.
Speaking to the CEO of Outlaw Pro, Stewart Lawson, he had this to say about the new, improved feature:
“The tank is a huge feature within our Billericay megastore, and people travel from far and wide to see it."

"Since it’s predator season, we thought we’d convert it to a predator tank, which is a great attraction for everyone visiting the store, especially kids and keen lure anglers.”
To enhance the authenticity of the street fishing theme, Stewart has added a shopping trolley and a road cone, with a push bike soon to complete the display.
“It’s a bit of fun,” Stewart added.
“Having grown up fishing the River Lea, there was always a shopping trolley and a road cone in every stretch I fished, so I thought I’d pop them in there too for that realistic look.”
