It’s Black Friday, and we all know what that means—bargains! Like anyone else, we anglers love saving money where we can, and Black Friday is the perfect time to grab BIG discounts. Whether you’re after a new pole, reel, fishing chair or a new feeder rod, you can bet it’s on sale somewhere.
These days it’s rarely just a 24-hour sale. Most retailers launch “Black Week” offers in mid to late November, then run through the weekend into Cyber Monday. It’s often the best time of year to upgrade big-ticket kit like barrows, poles, rods and reels, because brands clear old stock and shops compete hard on price.
To save you the hassle of trawling through endless pages, we’ve rounded up the 10 best 'reely good' Black Friday deals on some of our favourite gear—kit we use, abuse, and simply couldn’t live without—now available at unbelievably low prices!
1. Matrix XTR700 16m Pole
Save upto 15%
Price: $2,974.99 was £3,499.99
The new flagship pole from Matrix for 2025, the XTR700 Elite Pro, has been built from the ground up to sit at the very top of their range. It uses a brand new mandrel and the highest grades of Japanese carbon, with X Graphene resin to keep it light, rigid and strong. Thanks to a Black Friday saving, you can now get this 16m package for under £3,000.
Featuring tech from the previous MTX range of poles including MST layering, Glide tape finish and SLG joints for smooth shipping. There are new faetures like unique carbon joint protectors, printed distance markers on sections 3 to 7, and printed depth markers on all top kits. Every kit is fitted with UK made PTFE bushes and Revolve side pullers, with EVA bungs in the mini extensions for extra protection.
The 16m package includes the XTR700 Elite Pro, 4 Pro match kits, 4 Pro power kits, 4 short match kits, 4 short power kits, a twist lock cupping kit with cups, a mini extension and a Duralite pole case. - Excellent spares package with 16 kits supplied
- Supplied in a pole hardcase
- Extendable cupping kit so it can be adjusted to match each different length top kit

2. Preston Superium X75 16m Pole
Save upto 19%
Price: $1,614.99 was £1,999.99
Meet the Preston Superium X75 - the embodiment of remarkable strength, balance, and resilience! Crafted from superior Japanese carbon and fortified with strategic reinforcements, it builds upon the laurels of its mightily successful predecessor, the Superium X70.
Imagine having precision depth markers at 1” intervals on your top kits for fine-tuned rigging; well, the Superium X75 makes it a reality! Plus, with interchangeable top kits, versatility is the name of the game. The X75 is supplied within a Preston pole safe hardcase, ensuring your pole remains pristine.
It doesn't just excel, it dominates, be it in commercial fishing, river fishing, canal fishing - you name it! And the best part? All previous Superium and Response kits are compatible with this pole. So, if you're a current preston pole user looking for an upgrade, isn't the Superium X75 a tempting proposition? With the additional 15% available this Black Friday it may be time to upgrade.
Mark Sawyer remarked on a recent test "The pole is certainly stiff enough to be fished at 16m and, more importantly, responsive enough at its tip to be used with a short lash without a hitch"
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Built using same mandrel of predecessor ensuring compatibility
- Supplied in a hardcase to ensure safe transit
Cons
- Would like to see an option of spares package allowing choice for anglers preferences
Price: $1,614.99 was £1,999.99
3. Daiwa Hydrolastic
save upto 23%
Price: $11.47 was £14.99
If there is one product that has genuinely stood the test of time, it is Daiwa Hydrolastic. The price has barely shifted over the years, but right now you can pick it up with a 15% Black Friday discount, which makes stocking up a bit of a no brainer if you already trust it, or have been meaning to try it.
Hydrolastic is a hollow, fluid filled elastic that gives a true multi phase performance. On mixed fisheries and busy commercials it covers a wide range of situations in one setup. On small fish it behaves like a lighter elastic, but when you hook something bigger it powers up smoothly, offering more controlled stretch than a standard heavy solid elastic. The internal fluid keeps the walls apart as it compresses, so it remains progressive rather than locking up. It has been many anglers’ go to elastic for years for good reason, and at this price it is very hard to look past.
Enter code 'BF15' at checkout for discount.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Full range to cover all pole fishing
- Tried and trusted product
Cons
- Internal liquid can leak out if damaged
Price: $11.47 was £14.99
4. The Matrix 4 Wheel Power Transporter
Save upto 22%
Price: $696.99 was £899.99
If getting to your peg feels harder than the fishing, the Matrix 4 Wheel Power Transporter is the fix. Powered by two 130 watt in hub motors, it turns a heavy loads into an easy stroll, even when you are fully loaded with all your kit.
Built around the original Matrix Transporter frame, it keeps all the features anglers liked. You get height adjustable handles, an extending frame, adjustable seatbox locking clamps, elastic strap loops, plastic frame clips to protect your seatbox, and a rear bag with zipped lid and drainage holes. It is also fully compatible with the Transporter Bag and bolt on front carrier for keepnets and side trays.
The motors are neatly hidden inside the pneumatic front wheels, with the solid rear wheels retained for stability. Extra strengthening has been added to the frame to cope with the power, and a thumb operated digital controller and battery compartment are built into the rear. The whole trolley breaks down quickly, packs surprisingly small, and comes with a separate wheel bag so you can keep mud away from the car.
With three speed settings, enough torque to shift a seriously overloaded barrow, and very stable handling, it is a genuine game changer for long walks, natural venues, or anyone who struggles with the weight of modern kit.
Grab yours now with a healthy Black Friday saving of 23% off full price.

The lower frame height means you can remove trays to drop the seat position, which is ideal for shorter anglers or anyone who prefers sitting that bit lower. Price: $84.99 was £99.99
If you fish busy, high catch rate commercials with strict net limits, having multiple keepnets is non negotiable. The Guru Team 2.5m Triple Net Pack gives you three fish safe nets designed to save space and keep you within the rules, and with this Black Friday discount you are getting them for under £30 per net, which is seriously good going.
Each 2.5m keepnet is spot on for commercial fisheries. The length is long enough to be fish friendly without sticking halfway across the lake, and the unique locking head on the narrow side means the net sits neatly on an accessory bar, leaving more room in front of you and making it easier to run three nets in a tight swim. A weighted bottom ring helps the net sink and stay fully open, while the super soft, tight mesh and dark finish keep fish safe and calmer in the water.
The adjustable locking mechanism lets you tweak the angle easily, and the whole setup feels strong enough for regular use. If you are fishing venues where you are filling nets most matches, this triple pack is a very sensible way to get set up properly without spending silly money.
