The bream shoals at a popular Midlands water well and truly woke up for the latest match, with the winner bagging over 100lb of them.

Peterborough's Ferry Meadows is home to large shoals of big slabs and Matt Wright made a good draw on peg 111 count as he worked his way to an impressive 108lb haul.

With the wind blowing into his swim, the NuFish-backed angler fancied his chances from the word go and he worked with the feeder and groundbait, using worms and casters to fool 19 quality bream.

His haul wasn't the only that caught the eye though, with second placed Maurice Williams bringing 87lb 12oz to the scales from peg 112, as Mick Dixon's 75lb 8oz catch from peg 114 finished off the frame.
