Norfolk angler Stephen Gibbons has continued his spectacular run of form from last season with a brace of tench, weighing 11lb 13oz and 11lb 3oz.

They were caught from a water in Kent, where Stephen targeted a spot 40 yards out to the right of a shallow bar, where it drops off into deeper water. He’d just released the 11lb 3oz fish when, five minutes later, he had another take from the 11lb 13oz specimen.

Both fell to Method feeders, which he loaded with scalded Nash Scopex Squid pellets and fished alongside a matching 12mm hookbait.

HERE ARE SOME EXCELLENT TIPS THAT WILL HELP YOU CATCH BIGGER TENCH!
