Cornwall's White Acres complex played host to the prestigious Parkdean Masters final, where the best 24 anglers from the Preston Innovations Festival, held during the week commencing October 7th, battled it out for the coveted title and a cheque for £15,000.

In the closely contested final, Wayne Kearney emerged victorious, securing the win with a total weight of 50lb 10oz from Peg 45 on Jenny's Pool, netting himself the title and a £15,000 pay day. Kearney's catch included a mix of carp and F1s on the long pole, rotating his lines was key to keep fish coming.

Rob Swan finished a close second with a weight of 48lb from Peg 11.
