The news has had a mixed reaction from anglers. Whilst the venue will be hugely missed by festival goers to theCornish holiday resort, it now opens up Bolingey to more open matches, day tickets, group bookings and even their own festivals which has caused a huge amount of excitement amongst locals and fans of the venue.

Open matches are already being planned to run on Fridays and Sundays with anglers stopping at the White Acres site being welcome.

As of yet, White Acres have not revealed what their new festival format will be.
