The highly anticipated wait for Guru's first foray into the fishing pole market is almost over! In the coming weeks anglers will be able to get their hands on the two new Aventus poles.

We got a chance to have a fish with the Aventus poles at Aston Park in Sheffield on the recent Guru roadshow, and with the hot and sunny weather, the carp gave them a real workout.

Both the Zero 900 and Zero 700 are built using the exact same fast-taper mandrel, which in a fishing sense means the poles are incredibly stiff and well-balanced.

Features include a super-smooth glide paint finish, increment distance measurements spaced a foot apart to aid accuracy when fishing and feeding and ultra-rigid non-stick joints with joint alignment arrows on all of the sections.

Guru have devised a quite unique model for selling the poles which includes a whole multitude of different packages and top kit options so you can really tailor the pole to type of fishing you do most.

The Zero 900 16m pole only package has an RRP of £3,000 and you can then buy extra packages to suit your fishing, while the Zero 700 16m package starts at £2,850.
